Physiotherapy Needs

Our reports will provide an expert opinion on a claimant’s future Physiotherapy needs and include:

Occupational Therapy Reports

Our occupational therapy reports provide a complete picture of the claimant, their injuries and the functional implications of their ongoing impairments on their ability to complete activities of daily living.

Initial needs assessments

This maybe appropriate for your client if;

• They are in the early stages of their recovery due to recent injury and their injuries have not yet stabilized but you would like to gain an understanding of their impairments and needs.  
• If the client's claim appears small or the clients injuries have fallen well below the 10% WPI requirement.  
• If your client is debating whether to proceed with their claim  
• If the client has received minimal past and or current care  
• If you would like an overview of the clients functioning and guidance on their immediate needs  
• If your client is due to undergo further surgery but you would like a snapshot of their current functioning  
• If you would like an assessment of your client’s situation to explore/identify any crisis issues such as mental health concerns, which may require urgent action.

Functional assessments

This report is ideally suited for Trustees and Family Law matters. Our report includes:

• Assessment of the client’s physical, cognitive and psychological functioning with associated recommendations for care, therapy and equipment.
• Assessment of the clients living/family situation and a comprehensive analysis of their accommodation and access requirements in their current and potential future living environments.
• Assessment of their current roles and level of function in personal care, domestic work, community access and leisure and recreation with detailed recommendations regarding their future needs.
• Comprehensive information of all recommended equipment including photo, rationale for need, costings, local supplier and replacement needs.

Our typical turnaround sees us providing an assessment appointment within 14 days of instruction (subject to client availability) and delivering a completed expert report within a further 21 days. Particularly urgent assessment report deadlines can often be met, please contact us for details.
