Our independently researched Cost of Care Reports  provide  a thorough pricing schedule to assist you to reach an agreement on the costs claimed in compensation cases.

We regularly liaise with the major Care Agencies and Domestic Service providers operating in NSW to maintain a current, accurate and reliable data base of Care and Domestic service costs. Our data base dates back to 1988 and is updated twice yearly to ensure the costs we quote are current and accurate. CDC Services are not involved in the provision of care so our information and reporting is completely impartial and independent.

We collate Metropolitan and Rural data on the following in home services:

• Nursing – Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses, Assistant Nurses / Personal Carers
• Domestic services – Domestic Care, Cleaning, Gardening and Home Maintenance
• Child care services
• Miscellaneous services – Shopping delivery, Taxi services, Car Wash and Pool Maintenance services

The information we provide in our report includes:

• Pricing information from as many as six major Care providers
• The hourly rates including days, evenings, nights, Weekends and Public Holiday penalty rates.
• Adjusted and averaged rates to allow easy calculation of future care 
• Relevant information on governing Awards, Superannuation and GST

In cases where individuals require high levels of care e.g. 24 hour care, or have complex needs we research on a case by case basis, to ensure our information is current and reflective of the available services where the claimant resides. In preparing the report we:

• Identify the Home Care Agencies that have the capability of providing the prescribed care
• Discuss the individual’s care requirements with the Agency's management team 
• Acquire specific  pricing based on the clients care needs 
• Collate the quoted pricing information into an easy to read table, with daily and weekly costs tallied

The Costs provided are based upon care scenarios specified by the instructing party or Care prescriptions in  Expert reports that are provided to us. Our ongoing research of the market allows us to deliver comprehensive and accurate Cost of Care Reports within a typical 2 week period from receipt of instructions.
